Sports Physicals

Regular physicals are an essential part of preventive pediatric care. If your child has had a well check within the past 12 months, we can typically complete their sports physical form without scheduling an additional visit. These routine checkups take a proactive approach to health by monitoring developmental milestones and evaluating both physical and emotional well-being.

Telehealth

Your child’s sports physical includes a thorough evaluation of their overall health, including height and weight measurements, vision screening, blood pressure and heart rate checks, a heart and lung exam, and an assessment of joint function, strength, and flexibility. We also review current medications, allergies, and any symptoms that arise during exercise to ensure your child can participate safely.

Parent Resources

Our Sports & Exercise resource page provides parents with valuable guidance on preparing children for physical activity—from sport-specific tips to caring for sprains, injuries, and breathing issues. Use this resource as a helpful starting point, and contact our office to schedule an appointment if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s health or readiness for sports.
