CASEY LEWIS, MD

Dr. Casey Lewis was raised in Jamestown, KY.   She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Louisville. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Kosair Children's Hospital and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Lewis has special clinical interest in newborn care, helping babies and their families navigate the transition.

She lives in Bullitt County with her husband and three sons who keep her busy with a variety of sports and activities.  Dr. Lewis also enjoys participating with professional committees and is a national speaker on patient safety.

SARAH HART, MD

Dr Sarah Hart was raised in Bullitt County and is an alumni of North Bullitt High School.  She completed her undergraduate training at Spalding University and received her medical degree from the University of Louisville.  Dr. Hart completed her Pediatric Residency at Kosair Children's Hospital and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics..

Dr. Hart has special clinical interest in ADHD, behavioral health, and obesity management and prevention.

She lives in Bullitt County with her husband and three beautiful daughters.  She enjoys reading, antique shopping, home decorating, and watching her girls play competitive volleyball.

SARAH HART, MD

DAN KISCHNICK, MD

Dr. Kischnick is from Southern Indiana and graduated from Jeffersonville HS.  He earned a B.S. in biology and a Master's Degree in plant and soil sciences from the University of Kentucky before earning his Medical Degree from the University of Louisville. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Kosair Children's Hospital and later served as Chief Resident for the House Staff there.  He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

 

Dr. Dan has special clinical interest in pediatric autoimmunity, sports medicine, early childhood development, and children with complex medical needs.

 

He lives in Bullitt County with his wife, Kristen, and their children, Willow and Judah.  He loves gardening, playing guitar, cooking, and cheering for the Michigan Wolverines and Indianapolis Colts.

CALEB BUEGE, MD

     Dr. Caleb Buege was raised in Bullitt County and is an alumni of Bullitt Central HS.  He  earned his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University and his medical degree from the University of Louisville.  Dr.Buege  completed his Pediatric Residency at Kosair Children's Hospital and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. 

Dr. Buege has special clinical interest in physical fitness including the use of diet and exercise science to improve overall wellness.  He is a pediatric cancer survivor with a passion for patients battling pediatric malignancies.

     He lives in Bullitt County with his wife, Lynsey, and their dog Bonnie.  He enjoys exercising, woodworking, and watching Kentucky basketball.  His passion is raising funds for The Fight Foundation, a charity founded by he and his wife to benefit pediatric cancer research.

Dr. Woodring was raised in Bullitt County and attended North Bullitt HS.  She attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric Residency training at Kosair Children's Hospital and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.  

 

Dr. Woodring has a special clinical interest in providing a comprehensive medical home and working to improve our community.  

 

She lives in Bullitt County with her husband, Jeremy, and their lovable Shih Tzu, Albert.  She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, trying new restaurants, playing board games, and playing music at her church.

APRN

Stacey Poehner was raised in Louisville, Kentucky, but has lived in Bullitt County for the last 15 years.

 

She completed her BSN at the University of Louisville and her Master's of Nursing and APRN certification from Spalding University.  She has worked in pediatrics for the last 15 years.

 

Stacey has special clinical interest in newborn care and development. 

She lives in Bullitt County with her husband, Andy, and their two children, Addison and Jack.  She enjoys kayaking, spending time outdoors, physical fitness, and coaching.

JENNIFER PENTECOST, APRN

Jennifer Pentecost was raised in Mayfield, Kentucky. She received her BSN from the University of Louisville.  She returned to school and earned a Master's of Science in Nursing and Master's of Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix.  She most recently completed her Family Nurse Practitioner post master's degree at Harding University. Jennifer is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner.  She is also board certified by The Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice as a lactation counselor.

 

Jennifer has a special clinical interest in lactation and the transition of new families.  

 

She lives in Bullitt County with her husband, Nathan, and their three children, Max, Slade, and Allie.  She enjoys reading, painting, sewing, spending time outdoors and traveling the world.

JENNA THURMAN,MD

Dr. Jenna Thurman grew up in Titusville, Florida and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
 

She moved to Louisville in 2011 to attend the University of Louisville School of Medicine and went on to complete her pediatric residency training at Kosair Children's Hospital and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics

 

Dr. Thurman has a special clinical interest in adolescent medicine, mental health, and community involvement. 

She's proud to call Kentucky home and enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and hiking with her husband, Jeff, and their dog, Lucy."
